Lightning the Dog needs a home

Lightning is an adorable mid-size boy who loves to love! He’s starting to feel more safe and trusting with each passing day now that he’s surrounded by loving, caring people and lots of fun furry friends to play with!  Today, it is much more likely that he’ll greet you with a wagging tail and a beg for attention than to cower in the corner like we saw when he first came to us as a very scared pup.

He appears to have great potty manners, as he hasn’t left any “surprises” in his kennel so far This is just one more reason to come meet this sweetheart and see if he’s a good match for your home!

The adoption fee for dogs is $100.00 and cats is $20.00. Every animal adopted from the Dubois County Humane Society has been heartworm tested (dogs), received age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and heartwormed (dogs) and flea treated. All animals have been spayed/neutered.
